1. Use Timers for your boiler, hot water, and lighting
2. Use energy efficient lighting bulbs (CFL's)
3. Install a lagging jacket on your hot water cylinder
4. Increase insulation in your attic (250mm)
5. Turn off radiators in rooms that are not in use
6. Caulk door and windows and/or replace with energy efficient products
7. Consider alternative home energy technologies such as wind or solar power
8. Turn off everything you are not using (lights, plugs, electrical appliances)
9. Boil only as much water in the kettle as you need
10. Use a shower as an alternative to a bath
